#1 Through Different Lenses

It took a while to come up with a subject for a public blog. It has to be different than the one kept private, but interesting enough to be read.

Finally it is here. They say a picture paints a thousand words. But a picture with words is much better. So I'm sharing some of my choice photographs with you: pictures I took, pictures taken by others, pictures snatched from the internet=> and the stories I associate with them.

Don't expect a lot from my photos. I don't know much about photography. I can't give you tips on how to work on your slr cameras. As you can see in the photo in this entry, I just use your everyday point and shoot camera.

Well technically, it's not the "everyday" camera. It's better than most. After all, you can manually adjust the aperture and speed values, or you can just select from the 14 pre-defined shooting modes. It's a reliable camera that still works after I dropped it so many times. And the colors are always rich.

The photo in this entry was taken by Alex (yep, v.B.) when we were in Cusco last year in August. I think it's a very interesting place. It's a shame we only got to spend half a day exploring the place. If given the time, chance and money, I would love to go back there.
