Imagine That

Today I celebrate my 8th year anniversary in Coke, together with my other batchmates in the management training program.

When I came in, I was this thin:

Obviously, that was 25 pounds ago.

When we were younger, we had some hypothesis on who would last the longest in Coke. Albert was convinced that he was first to go. And he was right:

He is now happily employed in Johnson & Johnson.

We had different permutations on who would leave next. We thought it would either be me or Sharon. But then we didn't discount Alex, who, upon his first month in Coke was expressing regrets that he took the job offer in Coke instead of the offer he got from P&G. A day short of his 8th Year Anniv, Alex left Coke to join Albert in Johnson & Johnson.

Back in 1999, we were sure that Glenn would outlast us in Coca-Cola. I think that for as long as they keep him based in Davao, he wouldn't leave the Coca-Cola "System".

Now only three remain:

Myself, Sharon and Glenn
